I'm experimenting with patterns and shapes in the sky with the knife!
This is the first in a set of experiments I'm making, using shape and pattern to create interest in an otherwise plain area.
I'm using my love for geometric and woven textile patterns as inspiration. A square tipped knife works perfectly to create the sharp angular patterns, while still allowing for that imperfect and painterly look that the palette knife is so great for.
