Sunsets are so beautiful when the light hits the clouds in the sky, but sometimes the sunset is also gorgeous when there are no clouds in the sky at all. I really have a thing for gradients of color, especially in the sky. The geometrical texture in this painting gives depth and interest into an otherwise plain area, while still keeping true to the beauty of the sky's subtlety.
