Red!
It's the color of passion, whether positive or negative. It evokes intensity on all levels.
Red is used to seduce, as well as to frighten and to warn. When you see red on an animal, it often indicates danger. Likewise, red lipstick can also be dangerous ;)
Seeing red in the sky during a sunset is unusual; more common are colors such as orange and pink. A red sky usually means there is a fire nearby.
But, sometimes we get to be dazzled by a red sky! This is one of those sunsets. The sun actually appears white against the intensity of the red.
The scarlet reflections in the water remind me of what lies underneath -- a whole world unseen!
